We have all arrived in Ohio!

We are all now living in Ohio. Kayla and I got here last month. The weather has been gorgeous since my arrival and I have enjoyed walking every evening. Thanks to our wonderful friends, The Halls, we have a place to live until we move into our house on July 30th. The Halls have been a hugh blessing and they will never know just how much they have helped and have been here for The Allman's.

As of this morning Kayla flew back to Tampa to prepare for her missions trip to Jamaica. She will visit in Fl. until Sunday and then they leave for their trip. She will fly to Knoxville on the 12th and I will be in Ky. visiting with our Marmey so I will get her from there and we will spend that weekend with Marmey and her family.

I will keep everyone posted as to when we move in and have a new address.

The picture is of Kayla at Cedarville University doing the Summer studies, she had a great experience and we are so glad we were able to send her.

May update!

I can't believe it is the 20th of May already. The last week in April we closed on the house, shipped our belongings to Ohio and sold the jeep. Since then we have just been hanging in Florida waiting for Kayla to finish school. That happens next week.
She will fly out of here on June 2nd and I will drive out on June 10th. I will keep you posted as I make my way to my new life in Ohio.

Sports Banquet and short update.

Last night was RCS's sport banquet. The kids look forward to this special event all year. This is a time to recognize the students for their participation in sports throughout the year. This year Kayla and her good friend Bryan both received the Christian Character award, we were so proud! Good job you two!

This coming week is going to be crazy and a little heartbreaking at the same time. We have sold the jeep and that is a good thing so we don't have to drive it all the way to Ohio. We also close on the house on Wednesday. The packers will be there Monday and Tuesday to take our stuff for the long trip and short storage in Ohio. I do ask you keep Kayla in your prayers. This is a lot of changes in one week, loosing her vehicle and home all in the same week =( I know she will do fine, but as a mom, I worry!

Our visit to Ohio

As most of you know Kayla and I went to Ohio and Michigan last week to see Tom. It had been 2 months so we were ready. We visited the school we are looking at for Kayla and we got our new "retired" id's. We like the area in Dayton and it is sinking in that we are leaving. So now, we have 2 more months and we will all be together again.

The house is under contract and we are due to close at the end of this month.

Hey Y'All!

We had the best weekend in Savannah, it was just too short =( We visited with our baby Logan and got to go to Lady and Son's restaurant. It was a wonderful experience and I'm soooooo glad I got to share it with my wonderful friends. Enjoy the pictures!

Allman Update

I just wanted to let you guys know how we are doing. Tom is settling into his job at Wright Patt and so far so good.....he says he really likes his job and we are thankful. He got his last cast off and is now in a walking boot. He goes to PT three times a week. He will be all better by the time Kayla and I move there =)
Kayla and I are just plugging along with everyday life. We feel as if Tom is deployed again but this time he is not across the ocean. Kayla will go see her dad for spring break and I will go up for the Easter weekend. We are both very excited to see him, we miss him very much and keep saying this is going to be worth it in the end. As far as the house goes, we have had 25 showings and three offers, all of which we have not accepted.......people want you to give your house away =(
Kayla and I are going to visit our baby Logan this weekend, so we will post pictures from Savannah next week.
